What is collected

An email address, and only when you type one into the sign-up form and press the button. The sign-up box on the home page sets three optional boxes beside it: a name for the greeting line, an answer about which corner to lead with, and a note. Leave any of them empty and nothing is stored in its place. Nothing else on this site is tied to a person. No account exists to be made, and no profile to fill in.

Measurement tools

None are loaded. Not a measurement script, not an advertising pixel, not a social tracker, and therefore no consent banner, since there would be nothing to agree to. If that ever changes, this page is edited first and the date below moves with it.

Two things are kept in your browser

The three printing switches on the printing page are stored under a single key called ps:print. It holds three true or false values about what to put on the paper.

The second key, ps:promo, holds the moment the panel about the whole index was last shut. That panel appears once and then stays shut for a month, which is the only reason the moment is written down at all. Neither key leaves the browser you set it in, nothing is transmitted, and no server here can read either one. Clearing site data removes them and nothing breaks.

Typefaces

The three typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so loading a page tells that service your browser asked for them. No other outside address is contacted by any page here.

Getting off the list, or off the record entirely

Every message carries a link that removes the address, and it works without a reply from anybody. To have an address deleted outright rather than unsubscribed, write to hello@crochetrituals.com and say so.
