How a pattern gets onto this site

Where each pattern was published, where that is still known, and what happens when it is not.

Of the 18 patterns here, 5 arrived with the address of the page they were published on. Those 5 are listed first, each linking to the pattern and to the page it was taken from.

These reached this site without an address, and guessing one would be worse than leaving it blank. If a pattern below is yours, write to hello@crochetrituals.com with the page it first appeared on and it is credited here or taken down, whichever you ask for.

What gets picked up, and what does not

  • Only a pattern its author put out free, on a page anyone could read.
  • Nothing that sits behind a payment, a login or an email wall.
  • Nothing sold as a file, at any price.
  • A photograph is either the original author's own or it is not published at all.
  • The instruction text is retyped, never reworded. A typo in the source stays a typo, because silently correcting somebody else's pattern is how a mistake becomes permanent.

Corrections, with the date each was made

When a round is fixed after somebody works it and finds it wrong, the change is listed here with its date, so anybody holding a printed sheet can see what moved.

Nothing has been corrected yet. The first entry goes here with the day it was made.
